(glimpses)- in the meanwhile

under this small foot bridge, we see them ...

in a quiet dancing sort of way, they must be telling their stories to one another
in this balmy place that knows no winter ....


and eternal summer like places that do not need to wait for butterfly wings

of many different colors....

we take this time to glimpse a little bit ahead and dream

of exotic places we might never know otherwise ....

while their quiet movements are unaffected by us.... as we wait and look towards the changing of the guard, the growing warmth  and  a return of spring much anticipated...
