(glimpses) - in between

we found ourselves traveling this past week to visit family we usually only get to see once a year ....driving the distance measured in hundreds of miles and all those many, many hours to think about home, where we are,  and where we will be going

passing trees fallen and those still waiting to return ...

 

and all those beautiful places in between of light and shadow and rippling water 


the cup sitting on the window sill reflects the same and I have decided that it is mostly likely full (or at least half full) Goodbye summer and hello autumn!
